CTV ad creative is the commercial that runs in streaming ad breaks on connected televisions: full-screen, sound-on and non-skippable, delivered as a 16:9 master at 15 or 30 seconds. Unreal Media Group produces it with generative tools under human direction, so a brand can run a television-quality spot without a location, a crew or a shoot day.

What CTV creative has to be

A connected TV spot is watched on the largest screen in the house, with the sound on, and cannot be skipped. That rewards the craft of a television commercial: a composed 16:9 frame, a story that resolves inside its length, a score, a grade and a mix finished to the platform's loudness and safe-area requirements. Delivery specifications differ by platform and partner and are recorded in the scope; the media team verifies them against the platform's current documentation at delivery.

Cinematic production without the shoot

The frames are generated, then treated like footage: selected, cut, scored, graded and finished. Locations, casts and camera moves that a filmed production would have to book are art-directed instead. The concept, the script and every craft decision are made by people, and the production method for a brief is defined in the approved scope.

One master, every screen

A 30-second CTV master can be written so that a 15-second cutdown, an online video version, a six-second bumper and a vertical social edit come from the same piece. The scope lists which cutdowns and ratios a batch delivers alongside the master.

Product films for streaming

Product-led spots built on macro detail and hard studio light suit the full-screen frame as well as narrative films do. Product references are approved before production and checked against the finished frames for label, proportion and material accuracy.

Delivery specifications

Frame size, frame rate, codec, loudness, slate, safe areas and closed-caption requirements vary by streaming platform, programmatic partner and broadcaster. The approved scope names the delivery specification the master is finished to; final platform or broadcaster acceptance is not guaranteed by this page.

What CTV creative production does not include

Media buying, inventory, targeting or campaign management. Unreal produces the spot and hands the finished master and cutdowns to whoever runs the brand's media.

Frequently asked questions

What is CTV ad creative?

The commercial that runs in streaming ad breaks on connected televisions and streaming services: a full-screen, sound-on, non-skippable 16:9 spot, typically 15 or 30 seconds, finished to the platform's delivery specification.

Can a CTV commercial be made without filming?

Some briefs can use a fully generative workflow; others require filmed elements, physical references, licensed assets or talent. The approved scope defines the production method and the technical review the master goes through.

Will the spot meet broadcast and streaming delivery specs?

The master is finished to the delivery specification the scope names, including frame size, loudness and safe areas. Requirements differ by platform and partner, and final acceptance by a platform or broadcaster is not guaranteed by this page.

Can the same spot run on YouTube and social?

Yes, when the scope lists the cutdowns: a 16:9 master serves CTV and in-stream video, with shorter and vertical versions delivered beside it for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.

Do you buy the CTV media?

No. Unreal is a production studio. It makes the spot and hands the finished files to whoever runs the brand's media, and it never touches ad accounts, budgets or campaigns.

What are examples of CTV advertising?

The 15- and 30-second spots that run in ad breaks inside streaming apps and on smart-TV platforms, alongside pause ads, interactive overlays and QR-code end frames. The films in the cinematic collection of this site's library are produced to that broadcast standard; each is a concept piece for an invented brand.

Is CTV advertising worth it?

That is a media question the brand's buyer answers from reach, frequency and measurement on the plan. The creative question Unreal can answer is whether the spot holds up on a television screen: resolution, sound, pacing for a 15 or a 30, and the legibility of any end frame. A spot built to that standard can also be cut for YouTube and social from the same master.
