A Property Film, Without Closing The Property
One brand film, a film per room type, and the seasonal variants.

This is a spec scenario, built to show how Unreal Media Group approaches this brief. It is not a client engagement, and no results are claimed. Hospitality has a scheduling problem that is really a revenue problem: shooting a property means taking rooms out of inventory, and shooting them empty means shooting them at the least flattering time of year. The brief was to produce the set without either cost.
What's included
- No rooms taken out of inventory
- A film per room type, not a sample
- Summer and winter from one build
- Vertical cutdowns for social
- Stills for booking and OTA listings
The brief we set
A property brand film, a short film for each room type, and the public-space films — restaurant, spa, terrace — in one visual language, with summer and winter variants of the exteriors.
Empty rooms, occupied feeling
The difficulty in room photography is that an empty room reads as empty. The films are built around presence — light moving, a door ajar, a table mid-use — so the space reads as somewhere people are, without booking talent into every room type.
Two seasons, one production
The exterior in July and the exterior in January are usually two shoots a year apart. Here they are two treatments of one build, which means the winter campaign does not go out with summer footage.
Room types scale
A property with fourteen room types does not need fourteen shoot days. Each type is produced into the same world, so the suite and the standard double are recognisably the same hotel.
What ships
One brand film, a film per room type and public space, seasonal exterior variants, vertical cutdowns for social, and stills for the booking engine and OTA listings.

Frequently asked questions
Was this made for a real client?+
No. This is spec work — a brief we set ourselves to demonstrate the approach and the production model. The frames are ours. No client is named because there isn't one, and no performance figure is quoted because there is nothing to quote.
Does it have to match the real property?+
Yes. Accuracy to the actual rooms and spaces is the whole point of the deliverable, and it is checked against the property's own references at review. A guest arriving to something different is a complaint, not a campaign.
What would this cost to make?+
It depends on deliverable count, usage rights, revision rounds and turnaround. Scope is agreed in writing before anything is produced, as a defined batch of work rather than a recurring fee.
