A Drop Campaign, Built To The Date

Teaser, launch film and a frame per colourway, delivered against a release calendar.

A Drop Campaign, Built To The Date

This is a spec scenario, built to show how Unreal Media Group approaches this brief. It is not a client engagement, and no results are claimed. A drop is a deadline before it is a campaign. The product exists as a sample, the date is fixed, and the creative has to be finished before the sample is in a condition to photograph. The brief was to work to that calendar.

What's included

  • Delivered against a fixed release date
  • Starts from design files, not samples
  • A frame per colourway, one look
  • Teaser and launch from one build
  • Detail stills for PDP

The brief we set

A teaser for the announce, a launch film for the drop, and a frame for every colourway in the release, all delivered against a fixed date.

Working before the sample

Production begins from approved design files and material references rather than a finished sample, so the campaign is not waiting on a shipment to start. It is checked against the physical product before it goes out.

Colourways are variants, not shoots

A release with six colourways is six versions of one build. Each gets the same framing and the same light, so a grid of them reads as a release rather than six unrelated posts.

The announce and the drop are different edits

The teaser withholds; the launch film shows. Both come from the same production, which means the announce is not a lower-grade asset made in a hurry.

What ships

Teaser, launch film, a frame per colourway, vertical and square crops, and detail stills for the product page.

Frequently asked questions

Was this made for a real client?+

No. This is spec work — a brief we set ourselves to demonstrate the approach and the production model. The frames are ours. No client is named because there isn't one, and no performance figure is quoted because there is nothing to quote.

What if the product changes before release?+

A late material or colour change is a revision to the build rather than a reshoot, which is the main reason this approach suits a drop calendar.

What would this cost to make?+

It depends on deliverable count, usage rights, revision rounds and turnaround. Scope is agreed in writing before anything is produced, as a defined batch of work rather than a recurring fee.
