A Season's Lookbook, No Location

One seasonal world, a full lookbook, and the paid cutdowns that come out of it.

A Season's Lookbook, No Location

This is a spec scenario, built to show how Unreal Media Group approaches this brief. It is not a client engagement, and no results are claimed. Fashion's production problem is that the lookbook and the ads are usually two budgets. The shoot produces the campaign imagery, and then paid social gets the leftovers — crops of stills that were never framed for a feed. The brief here was to build one seasonal world and take both out of it.

What's included

  • Twelve looks in one consistent world
  • Lookbook and paid from one production
  • Late range changes without a reshoot
  • Print-resolution stills and vertical motion
  • Detail frames for product pages

The brief we set

A twelve-look seasonal range, presented as a lookbook and as a set of paid-social films, from a single approved art direction. Consistent light, consistent grade, consistent world across every asset.

One world, two outputs

The look is established once — location, light, palette, styling logic — and then every garment is placed in it. The lookbook gets the wide, composed frames; paid gets motion cut for the feed. Neither is a compromise of the other because neither is a leftover.

Range changes late, and that is normal

A dropped colourway or a late addition does not mean a reshoot. The world already exists, so a new look is produced into it and matches the rest of the range.

Why it isn't shot

A location, a crew, a model call, styling and a weather contingency, for twelve looks, is a multi-day production. Here the seasonal world is built once and holds still while the range moves through it.

What ships

Twelve lookbook frames at print resolution, twelve vertical films, feed and story crops, and a set of detail stills for PDP.

Frequently asked questions

Was this made for a real client?+

No. This is spec work — a brief we set ourselves to demonstrate the approach and the production model. The frames are ours. No client is named because there isn't one, and no performance figure is quoted because there is nothing to quote.

Can you match an existing campaign's look?+

Yes — the art direction can be built to sit alongside imagery you already have, so a new drop does not read as a different brand next to last season.

What would this cost to make?+

It depends on deliverable count, usage rights, revision rounds and turnaround. Scope is agreed in writing before anything is produced, as a defined batch of work rather than a recurring fee.
