Supplements UGC, Made Without A Shoot

Six creative angles for a supplements brand's paid social, produced as a single batch.

Supplements UGC, Made Without A Shoot

This is a spec scenario, built to show how Unreal Media Group approaches this brief. It is not a client engagement, and no results are claimed. Supplements is a category where the creative is constrained before it is written: claims are regulated, before-and-after framing is restricted, and the same product shot appears in every competitor's feed. The brief we set was to produce six distinct paid-social angles that stay inside those constraints and still look different from each other.

What's included

  • Six distinct angles, one approved look
  • No health claim stated or implied
  • Vertical, square and 4:5 from the same masters
  • Captioned and clean deliveries
  • Stills pulled from the same frames

The brief we set

Six vertical ads for a daily supplement, each built on a different reason-to-buy: routine, taste, convenience, ingredient sourcing, format, and the moment of the day it belongs to. One product, six arguments, no claim about outcomes.

Working inside the compliance line

The category's restrictions are a creative brief in disguise. Nothing in the set states or implies a health outcome. The ads argue about habit and format instead — where the product sits on the counter, how it fits a morning, why the texture matters — which is both compliant and, in practice, more specific than a claim would have been.

Why it isn't shot

A six-angle set shot conventionally means a studio day, a talent call, a home-set build and a kitchen location. Produced our way it is one approved brief, one look, and six finished verticals — every angle gets the same production value rather than the last two being cut for time.

Iteration is the point

Paid social does not reward a single hero film; it rewards a set that can be read against each other. Because the angles come from one approved look, a losing angle can be replaced without re-establishing the brand's world from scratch.

What ships

Six 9:16 masters, 1:1 and 4:5 crops, captioned and clean versions, and the stills pulled from the same frames for static placements and PDP use.

Frequently asked questions

Was this made for a real client?+

No. This is spec work — a brief we set ourselves to demonstrate the approach and the production model. The frames are ours. No client is named because there isn't one, and no performance figure is quoted because there is nothing to quote.

How do you handle claims in a regulated category?+

The creative argues format, routine and sourcing rather than outcome, and the brand's own legal review sits in the approval step before delivery. We do not write a claim the brand cannot substantiate.

What would this cost to make?+

It depends on deliverable count, usage rights, revision rounds and turnaround. Scope is agreed in writing before anything is produced, as a defined batch of work rather than a recurring fee.
