Automotive Retail, At Range Scale
Every model in the range gets the same production value, not just the flagship.

This is a spec scenario, built to show how Unreal Media Group approaches this brief. It is not a client engagement, and no results are claimed. Automotive retail creative concentrates on the flagship and lets everything else make do with a stills pack. The brief was to see what it looks like when the whole range gets the same treatment — because the volume seller is usually the one carrying the quarter.
What's included
- Every model, not just the flagship
- Offer and finance endframe variants
- Consistent light across the range
- Landscape and vertical from one master
- Stills for retail listings
The brief we set
A short film for each model in a retail range, in one visual language, with a variant for finance messaging and a variant without.
The flagship problem
A location shoot forces a choice: one car, one day, one road. Everything else gets a photograph. Produced this way the cost of the second model is not the cost of a second shoot, so the range is covered rather than sampled.
Regional and finance variants
Retail creative changes with offers, and offers change monthly. The same master takes a different endframe and a different compliance line without going back to camera.
Weather, light and location stop being risks
The road, the hour and the sky are art direction decisions rather than scheduling gambles. The set matches across models because it was never subject to a forecast.
What ships
A film per model, endframe variants for offers, vertical and landscape crops, and stills for the retail site.

Frequently asked questions
Was this made for a real client?+
No. This is spec work — a brief we set ourselves to demonstrate the approach and the production model. The frames are ours. No client is named because there isn't one, and no performance figure is quoted because there is nothing to quote.
Can the vehicles be shown accurately?+
Accuracy to the approved model and trim is part of the brief and is checked at review. Where a specific detail cannot be represented faithfully, we say so rather than approximating it.
What would this cost to make?+
It depends on deliverable count, usage rights, revision rounds and turnaround. Scope is agreed in writing before anything is produced, as a defined batch of work rather than a recurring fee.
