Craft, Origin And Method
A brand film for a roaster, with the origin and brew-method cutdowns beneath it.

This is a spec scenario, built to show how Unreal Media Group approaches this brief. It is not a client engagement, and no results are claimed. Specialty coffee sells on provenance and process, which usually means an origin trip nobody has budget for and a brew sequence shot in a hurry. The brief was to produce both properly.
What's included
- Brand, origin and method from one build
- Specific to the brand's actual origins
- Consistent pour and bloom frames
- New lots into the same world
- Pack and pour stills for ecommerce
The brief we set
A brand film for a specialty roaster, cutdowns for each origin in the current range, and short method films for the brew formats the brand sells for.
Origin without the origin trip
An origin story is normally either a genuine trip, which is expensive and happens once, or stock footage, which looks like stock footage. Built to the brand's own references it is specific to the actual farms and processes described.
The pour is the money shot
Bloom, crema and pour are the frames the category runs on, and they are the ones a rushed shoot loses. Art-directed rather than chased, they are consistent across every method film.
The range rotates constantly
Single-origin ranges change every few months. A new lot arriving into the same visual world means the site does not carry two generations of look at once.
What ships
Brand film, an origin cutdown per lot, method films, vertical crops, and pack and pour stills for ecommerce.

Frequently asked questions
Was this made for a real client?+
No. This is spec work — a brief we set ourselves to demonstrate the approach and the production model. The frames are ours. No client is named because there isn't one, and no performance figure is quoted because there is nothing to quote.
Is the origin footage real?+
It is produced to match the brand's own references for the farms and processes it actually buys from, and reviewed on that basis. It is not presented as documentary footage of a specific harvest.
What would this cost to make?+
It depends on deliverable count, usage rights, revision rounds and turnaround. Scope is agreed in writing before anything is produced, as a defined batch of work rather than a recurring fee.
