A Demo Series That Survives The Release

One film per workflow, produced so a UI change is a revision.

A Demo Series That Survives The Release

This is a spec scenario, built to show how Unreal Media Group approaches this brief. It is not a client engagement, and no results are claimed. B2B demo video has a shelf-life problem: it is filmed against a build, and the build ships every fortnight. The brief was to produce a workflow series that can be kept current without re-recording it.

What's included

  • A film per workflow, not one overview
  • UI changes are revisions
  • Synthetic, clearly illustrative data
  • Captioned and clean versions
  • Stills for site and sales decks

The brief we set

A short film for each core workflow in a B2B platform, plus a top-of-funnel overview, sharing one visual language and one narration style.

Screen recordings age badly

A recorded demo is accurate for one release. Producing the interface from current approved designs means the next release is a revision to the affected shots rather than a re-record of the series.

One film per workflow, not one film total

Buying committees do not watch an overview; individual roles watch the part that concerns them. A series lets sales send the relevant three minutes rather than the whole thing.

Data on screen is synthetic and looks it

No real customer data, no real customer names, and nothing that implies a specific account's results. Sample data is plausible and clearly illustrative.

What ships

An overview film, a film per workflow, landscape and vertical crops, captioned and clean versions, and stills for the site and sales decks.

Frequently asked questions

Was this made for a real client?+

No. This is spec work — a brief we set ourselves to demonstrate the approach and the production model. The frames are ours. No client is named because there isn't one, and no performance figure is quoted because there is nothing to quote.

What would this cost to make?+

It depends on deliverable count, usage rights, revision rounds and turnaround. Scope is agreed in writing before anything is produced, as a defined batch of work rather than a recurring fee.
